L'Oréal Advanced Research integrates the VITA-CIMENT® Complex into a repairing filler complex, two major active ingredients in hair care that act in synergy to rebuild the most damaged hair:
• Pro-Keratin : keratin is an essential component of the hair. This protein is made up of 18 amino acids which contribute to the cohesion of the fiber and to its extreme strength. Advanced Research L'Oréal has developed pro-keratin, a biometric active ingredient that reinjects material into the fiber and fills its micro-alterations.
• Ceramides : these specific lipids, naturally present in the hair, enter into the constitution of the intercellular cement, the cuticle and the cortex, ensuring the impermeability, the cohesion and the resistance of the fiber. The mimetic bio-ceramides incorporated into the Kérastase formula help to strengthen cohesion within the cortex and provide protection and shine to the hair. Their action is boosted by the Intra-Cylane ™.
This complex is associated with Resurrection Sap , extracted from the resurrection plant Myrothamnus Flabellifolia. A crawling vascular plant growing in the most arid lands, the resurrection plant has the unique ability to come back to life after a near-death state.
L'Oréal Advanced Research wanted to reproduce its vital essence as close as possible. After careful work of deciphering and observation, it succeeded in detecting the presence of specific sugars and polyphenols in the leaves of the plant.
Resurrection Sap, taken from the leaves by hot aqueous extraction and mixed with a tamarind seed gum, has been selected to transcmit all the energy of this fascinating plant.
